Selma Originals is a playwriting event I created in 2019 at the Selma Arts Center. All pieces that are a part of the event are written, directed, and designed by artists in the Central Valley of California. It has been produced in many different iterations during the pandemic. In 2023 it made its way back to the mainstage with two original musicals and a hilarious play. The Selma Originals is part of my mission statement to uplift the local voices in my community.
